The New Brunswick Federation of Labour (NBFL) Women’s Committee is inviting nominations for the Women in Leadership Award. One nominee will be accepted, for 2025.
The Women in Leadership Award provides official recognition to a deserving Sister, affiliated to the NBFL, who is currently serving the trade union movement in a leadership role, with distinction and in doing so, is making a significant and lasting contribution to the promotion of the principles and policies of her Union, her local, the NBFL, CLC or district labour councils and, to the advancement of the economic and social welfare of workers in New Brunswick.
Nominations may come from any labour organization, or a district labour council affiliated to the NBFL. Attached you will find a nomination form as well as the awards terms of reference. Deadline for nominations is October 16.
The final choice of the Selection Committee will be announced at the Women in Leadership Gala on November 1, to in Saint John. Attached are the relevant documents for the Gala, including how to reserve tickets for the event.

Le Comité de la condition féminine de la Fédération des travailleuses et travailleurs du Nouveau-Brunswick (FTTNB)invite des mises en nomination pour le prix des femmes en leadership. Une candidate sera choisie pour 2025.
Le prix des femmes en leadership offre une reconnaissance officielle à une consœur méritante, affiliée à la FTTNB, qui participe présentement avec distinction au mouvement syndical dans le cadre d’un rôle de direction, apportant ainsi une contribution importante et durable envers la promotion des principes et des politiques de son syndicat, de sa section locale, de la FTTNB, du CTC ou des conseils du travail régionaux et envers l’avancement du bien-être économique et social des travailleurs (euses) du N.-B.
Les mises en candidature peuvent être soumises par toute organisation syndicale ou tout conseil du travail régional affilié à la FTTNB. En annexe vous trouverez un formulaire de mise en candidature. La date limite de mise en candidature est le 16 octobre septembre.
Le choix final du Comité de sélection sera annoncé au le Gala des femmes en leadership le 1 novembre, 2025 à Saint John. Vous trouverez en annexe les documents nécessaires, y compris comment vous procurer des billets pour l’événement .
